The Suits
♠♣♥♦
Hello! We’re ACES, an indie rock band from London, driven by energy, raw emotion, and a love for creating music that connects. Formed by bassist Eliot and guitarist Katie, we were later joined by drummer Nathan and powerhouse vocalist Lois. Our sound is a blend of tight rhythms, catchy riffs, and lyrics that reflect the chaos and self-discovery of life. We’ve built our music from the ground up, writing and shaping it together—focusing on honesty and the electric chemistry between us. ACES is still on the rise, but we’re ready to leave our mark with every song we play and every stage we hit.

Lois Tidball ♥
Lois Tidball grew up in the gritty, musical heart of Bristol, England, where her childhood was marked by a blend of early musical influences and a rebellious streak. Raised by her single mother, who worked as a local pub singer, Lois was immersed in music from a young age, spending hours listening to everything from classic rock to 90s Britpop. It wasn’t long before she picked up her mother’s old acoustic guitar and started writing her own songs, pouring out her thoughts on paper in the form of raw, emotionally charged lyrics![]()
Her teenage years were a whirlwind of local gigs, DIY punk bands, and small-time clubs, where Lois honed her stage presence and vocal style. Her big break came when she was discovered by the members of a struggling indie rock band, ACES, who were looking for a new front women![]()
Katie Clarke ♦
Katie Clarke grew up in a quiet suburban neighborhood outside Manchester, far from the vibrant music scenes that most people associate with British rock. Her family was solidly middle-class, and her parents had no particular interest in music beyond listening to the occasional radio hit. But Katie had always felt like something was missing from her life until she discovered the electric guitar at the age of 12. The moment her fingers touched the strings, she felt an electric jolt, not just from the instrument, but from the sense of connection and possibility that music offered![]()
Her early influences were classic rock legends like Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and David Gilmour, but she was also drawn to the grunge and alternative rock scenes of the ‘90s. When she was a teen, Katie was sneaking into local clubs to see underground bands, determined to one day be the one performing on stage. She started writing her own riffs and even formed her own band in London, ACES![]()

Nathan Funnell ♠
Nathan Funnell grew up in a working-class suburb of Sheffield, surrounded by the raw energy of northern England. His older brother, Toby, was a punk rocker, and Nathan was drawn to his drum kit from an early age. What started as tapping on furniture quickly turned into full-fledged drumming sessions in the basement, where Nathan taught himself by covering punk and grunge bands. By 16, he was in a local punk band, playing gritty, fast-paced beats![]()
When that band fell apart, Nathan found ACES—a new indie rock group looking for a drummer. His aggressive yet precise drumming style, influenced by punk and alternative rock, was exactly what the band needed. At 17, he joined, and his energy quickly became a driving force behind the band’s sound, propelling ACES into the spotlight![]()
Eliot Sriwatcharaporn ♣
Eliot moved from Chiang Mai, Thailand, to London at 16, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start. The change from his hometown’s quieter, more traditional pace to the fast-moving, diverse culture of London was jarring at first, but it quickly ignited his passion for music. Growing up in a family immersed in music—his father a music teacher and his mother involved in the arts—Eliot was naturally drawn to the bass guitar. He found it a perfect fit, allowing him to express his creativity while staying in the background![]()
In London, Eliot began writing his own music, focusing on crafting melodic and rhythmic bass lines that became the foundation of his sound. Over time, Eliot’s dedication to his craft led him to form ACES with Katie. After a few early jam sessions, they were joined by Nathan, they met through the local music scene, and eventually Lois, who brought a powerful voice and stage presence to the group. As ACES began to find its footing, Eliot’s steady and precise bass playing became a key element of their sound![]()
